On April 10, 2019, 60 high school students came to the University of Athens for one day in order to learn about particle physics, CERN and become researchers for a day. In the morning, lectures were given by professors from the University of Athens. In the afternoon while the students attended a hands-on experience, a special session with 12 teachers took place in which they were introduced to the framework of FRONTIERS.
The students used the HYPATIA event display to look for Z and Higgs bosons. At the end of the day the students compared their results with those of other institutions from other countries in a video conference.
